Independent Research Institute
The Institute of Structural Foundations of Physics (ISFP) is an independent research institute devoted to the first-principles study of the structural foundations of physical reality.
ISFP develops the Synthesis Framework, a unified first-principles framework that derives the physical structure and mechanical behavior of the Substrate from its underlying principles and reconstructs established physics as successive physical manifestations of that structure.
The framework establishes the Substrate Paradigm as a coherent mathematical architecture for describing the organization, dynamics, and evolution of physical reality across scales. It addresses quantum structure, gauge interactions, mass generation, gravitation, cosmology, the dark sector, thermodynamics, special relativistic mechanics, and the resolution of gravitational singularities through a common substrate formulation.
The Synthesis Framework
The Synthesis Framework begins from substrate first principles rather than from separate phenomenological laws. Its native formulation establishes the structural quantities, fields, tensors, constants, and governing relations of the Substrate and derives their correspondence with observable physics.
At the macroscopic level, Vacuum Stiffness (K) and Synthesis Pressure (P) provide the principal vacuum moduli governing structural resistance and large-scale expansion. At the internal level, the eleven canonical substrate constants establish the normalized invariant hierarchy governing stability, coupling, transport, quantization, resonance, inertia, geometry, entropy, topology, scaling, and recursive interaction.

The Treatise on Substrate Physics
The theoretical development of the Synthesis Framework is presented through the Treatise on Substrate Physics, a systematic body of work that develops the framework from substrate first principles through the recovery of established physics and the formulation of native substrate laws.
The Treatise establishes a continuous development from the fundamental structure of the Substrate to quantum physics, gravitation, the Standard Model, cosmology, dark-sector resolution, singularity resolution, and the unified structural description of physical reality.
Guiding Principle
Physical reality has a common structural origin.
The Synthesis Framework derives that origin from the Substrate and reconstructs
its physical manifestations as a continuous hierarchy of structure, dynamics,
and observable phenomena.
Scientific Objective
The objective of ISFP is to establish a complete, internally coherent, and quantitatively testable first-principles description of physical reality in which the principal domains of modern physics arise from a common structural foundation.
Status
The Institute operates as an independent research institute with no institutional or governmental affiliation. Its research programme is centered on the development, mathematical formulation, publication, and empirical testability of the Synthesis Framework and the Treatise on Substrate Physics.
